About Us
We are a Buddhist family with three children and a Shiba Inu.
At Pratyutpanna Mountain Retreat (Le Clos de Champillon), far removed from the dust of the world, all beings abide in mutual accord.
Like mountains and like clouds,
like blossoms and like fruits,
like deer and like eagles,
like stars and like rivers —
each dwelling in its suchness.
May this place offer to those with karmic affinity
a refuge of gentle ease for the heart,
a field of equanimity and freedom,
where all abide in peace and non-obstruction.
Between sky and nature
Here, time seems to slow down.
At night, the gaze is lost in the star-filled sky; in the morning, the hills are sometimes covered with a gentle sea of clouds.
As the seasons change, you can see flowers blooming, fruits ripening in the orchard, while small animals pass discreetly through nature.
A simple and peaceful place to rest, contemplate and rediscover the harmony between man and nature.
